Paint is not protection
On Wednesday July 17, 2024 Barbara Friedes was killed while riding her bike on 17th and Spruce, by a driver going nearly 60mph. Her death was preventable. Politicians who care more about the minor inconveniences of drivers than the lives of people outside of a car share in responsibility for her death.
